If you can, I would suggest trying to snap a photo of your traditional art, and line it digitally.
It might help you get used to things and build up some muscle memory.

If you could draw good at paper ( no referenced drawings ) then youre also good at digital sketching. In digital art, coloring is the hardest part. You could go and color like modern style bright colors or realistic coloring. Sketching in digital art wasnt that hard if you know how to locate tools such as an eraser, a pen, pencil, etc. But youll be good at it.
